The Undiagnosed Diseases Network International (UDNI) is happy to announce its 12th Conference, taking place on October 22-23, 2023, in Tbilisi, Georgia hosted by the Georgian Foundation for Genetic and Rare Diseases (GeRaD) together with the Tbilisi State Medical University.

The purpose of this conference is to continue to share data as a consortium of international undiagnosed diseases programs (UDPs), to advance UDPs to developing nations, to promote the diagnosis of rare diseases and the discovery of new diseases, and to foster the elucidation of new mechanisms and pathways. We expect this to be a multidisciplinary working group, with approximately 250 participants. This will be an in-person event.

The conference agenda will address a wide range of topics, including:

  • Inborn errors of immunity
  • Inherited bone marrow failure syndromes and rare hematological diseases
  • Rare dermatological diseases
  • Rare neurological diseases
  • Rare gastroenterological/intestinal diseases
  • Rare metabolic diseases
  • Genetics and bioinformatics approaches to rare diseases
  • Model systems for the study of rare diseases
  • Precision medicine approaches for rare diseases
